Miracles and Technology

Let’s talk about Miracles.

Have you ever wondered why we don’t see mass displays of signs, miracles and wonders like the parting of the Red Sea, the ten plagues or fire reigning down from heaven on the enemies of God’s servants?

The answer is simple…

God is not dramatic.

Unlike Man, He uses His power in proportion to the need and not fantasy.

In addition to this reality, God’s past miracles becomes man’s standard.

This means that since the mandate of Genesis 1:28 technology has been on a race to catch up with the miraculous.

Technology is one of the primary forms of exerting dominion.

Why would God need to part the Red Sea in this age if men have now gained mastery over travel through technology implemented in boats which achieves the same result. Where men have gained dominion why would God exert the miraculous? This beautifully reveals that the creation of men is still within the confides of the original creator, God. In fact, it makes us inventors of possibilities in God as opposed to the original creator.

By Jesus’ dispensation the disciples travelled by boats and the miraculous quickly changed to turning water to wine, healing the sick and raising the dead.

Today we don’t see as much display of the healing because technology is also catching up to this miracle through the innovation of medicine.

What then is a miracle in this age?

Being financially liberated in this economy, having mental clarity in an age where AI thinks for you and having “traditional” gender values and characteristics. Although these “simple” things used to be basic abilities and traits of man, now they’re the source of pain in the lives of many.

Our battle in these end-times is the mind, money and the artificial-intelligence generated by men.

This piece is not intended to negate the role of the miraculous. It was written to give us a fresh perspective. If it works it is God. If it does not work it is error or ignorance. This is the attitude of Sons.

So when the man of God is prophetically decreeing over your finances and well-being, although it may seem generic, it is the mind of God to restore what the locust worm has eaten. So lift those hands, and lift them high with belief, because that my friends, (a good job in this economy), is a modern day miracle.

The enemy too knows this, so technology is now being used to replace the mircalulous/supernatural elements of God, and-so Prophet ChatGBT is appearing more accurate than most of our ordained ministers.

Question, what happens when technology catches up to the miracles equivalent to the resurrection Power? The potency of Jesus’ death will be nullified and men, alongside AI will become their owns gods.

Here’s the catch. God is God, He can at any moment decide as a display of sovereignty to bring forth the miraculous in any way, shape or form. I do not partner with the notion of Cessationist who believe such things were only privy to the twelve that walked with Jesus. I believe in Jesus Christ with all my heart and this is enough reason for my life in its entirety to be a miracle. Paul, who was not apart of the 12 displayed this, alongside the likes of Alexander Dowie, Archbishop Benson Idahosa and Benny Hinn, men who walked in the miracles thousands of years later.

Instead of being comfortable with technology we must encourage believers to “challenge” God to cause there to be a display of miracles that have never even been recorded before! I believe in the supernatural, I believe in the miraculous, I believe in Jesus Christ!

How then do we invoke the miraculous?

Prayer. Accurate, sincere and need-based prayer.

The Bible records that the divine orchestration of such miracles like the ones we are exposed to in Exodus began when Israel cried out to God and groaned. When we fast forward to the early Church in Acts we are also privy to the miraculous signs and wonders that took place through the likes of the Apostles. These miracles also began with prayers offered up to God in the Upper Room.

Miracles and the supernatural are perpetuated throughout all dispensations. As recorded they were and are still birthed from belief and prayer.

Beloved, let us believe and let us pray that we will experience miracles that is beyond technology and science.

RW.
